US-AFV M7 Priest
1:56 kit of the 105mm M7 Priest.
The M7 Priest was an American self-propelled artillery vehicle based on the M3 Lee tank chassis and was armed with a 105 mm howitzer. The M7 was operated by a crew of eleven and had a maximum range of around 11,500 meters. It was powered by a Continental R-975-C4 radial gasoline engine and had a top road speed of around 40 km/h (25 mph).
The M7 Priest was used extensively by the U.S. Army and the British Army in both the European and the North Africa campaign. The Priest open-topped turret, which made the crew vulnerable to small arms fire and shrapnel, but allowed for a wide field of fire for the artillery piece.
