Model T LPC release! Drivers/crews sold separately.
The Model T Desert Patrol Car, is a type of armored car that was used by the British Army during World War II in the desert campaigns of North Africa.
The Model T Desert Patrol Car was based on the Ford Model T, an American car which was produced from 1908 to 1927. The car was modified for desert warfare by adding armor plating and a machine gun mounts. The vehicle was relatively cheap and easy to maintain, which made it well suited for desert operations.
The Model T Desert Patrol Car was used by the British army, particularly the Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) and the Special Air Service (SAS) for reconnaissance and patrol missions in the deserts of North Africa. They were also used for raiding and sabotage operations behind enemy lines.
