Fame and Glory, Lafayette Pool's M4A1 "In The Mood"

Brent Dietrich

Lafayette G. Pool was an American tank-crew and tank-platoon commander and US tank ace, credited with 12 confirmed tank kills and 258 total armoured vehicle kills. Pool and his crews combat career covered only 81 days in action from June 27 to his being injured on September, 15 1944.

Pool named his tanks "In The Mood", all three being M4A1 sherman's with the 76mm gun.  This Fame and Glory release depicts Pools Sherman as it appeared right around July 1944, during Operation Cobra.

The kit includes decals, Pool miniature, hedge cutter, and stowage.
